Family Preservation Services (FPS)

Family Preservation Services (FPS) are programs designed to support families facing challenges that threaten their stability or safety. The goal is to help families maintain or regain a healthy, functioning environment by providing temporary, tailored assistance. This may include counseling, parenting support, crisis intervention, or connecting families with community resources. FPS aims to prevent the need for out-of-home placements, such as foster care, by addressing issues early and working collaboratively with families to strengthen relationships and promote lasting solutions.
