Falsifiable
Falsifiable means that a statement or theory can be proven wrong through observation or evidence. In scientific terms, for a claim to be meaningful, there must be a way to test it and potentially show it is false if it doesn't match reality. For example, saying "all swans are white" is falsifiable because discovering a single black swan would disprove it. If a claim cannot be tested or disproven—like "a higher power exists"—it’s considered unfalsifiable. Falsifiability helps distinguish scientific ideas from beliefs or opinions that can't be subjected to empirical testing.
