Faith and Belief

Faith and belief are central concepts in religious epistemology, which studies how we come to know and understand religious truths. Faith generally refers to a deep trust or confidence in a higher power or religious teachings, often without requiring empirical evidence. Belief, on the other hand, is a conviction that something is true, which can be based on personal experience, tradition, or reasoning. While faith can transcend rationality, belief can be more intellectually grounded.
