Fair Coin

A fair coin is a coin designed so that each outcome—heads or tails—is equally likely, with a 50% chance. When flipped, there is no bias or influence that makes one side more likely to land face up than the other. This means that over many flips, the results should roughly balance out, with about half the flips resulting in heads and half in tails. Fair coins are used in games, experiments, and decision-making processes where impartiality and randomness are important. The concept ensures that no outcome has an unfair advantage, maintaining fairness and unpredictability.
