Faction

A faction is a subgroup within a larger organization or society that shares specific interests or beliefs, often differing from the main group or other factions. These smaller groups can form around common goals, ideologies, or identities, sometimes leading to internal conflicts or alliances. Factions are common in political parties, organizations, and communities, serving as a way for members to organize around particular issues or perspectives.
