Facial Skeleton

The facial skeleton is the part of your skull that forms the structure of your face. It includes bones such as the nasal bones, cheekbones (zygomatic bones), the upper jaw (maxilla), lower jaw (mandible), and other smaller bones that support your facial features. These bones provide the framework for your eyes, nose, mouth, and face shape, and house important structures like nerves, blood vessels, and teeth. The facial skeleton integrates with the rest of the skull to protect vital organs and enable functions like speaking, eating, and expressing emotions.
