Face and Emotion
Facial expressions are the movements and features of the face that convey emotions, such as a smile indicating happiness or a frown showing sadness. Emotions are internal feelings like joy, anger, or fear, which can be reflected outwardly through these expressions. Our brains interpret facial cues to understand what others are feeling, facilitating social interactions. Conversely, we can also consciously modify our expressions to communicate specific emotions. Recognizing facial expressions helps us empathize and respond appropriately, making face and emotion a vital part of human communication.
