Eysenck's Model
Eysenck's Model of personality suggests that our individual differences are mainly based on two key dimensions: extraversion versus introversion, and neuroticism versus emotional stability. Extraverts tend to be outgoing and energetic, while introverts are more reserved and reflective. Neurotic individuals often experience more emotional instability and anxiety, whereas emotionally stable people tend to be calm. Eysenck believed these traits are influenced by biological factors, such as differences in brain activity. The model helps explain how people’s personalities vary along these spectrums and how these traits can influence their behavior and responses to situations.
