EYFS Profile
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Profile is an assessment used in England to evaluate young children’s development at the end of their reception year (around age 5). It focuses on various areas like communication, physical skills, social development, and understanding of the world. Teachers observe and record children's progress to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones. This profile helps identify children’s strengths and areas needing support, guiding future learning and ensuring they are prepared for primary school. It’s a record of each child's progress, not a high-stakes test.
