Eye Alignment

Eye alignment refers to how well both eyes work together to focus on the same object. Proper alignment ensures that each eye's image overlaps accurately, allowing the brain to combine them into a single, clear picture. If the eyes are misaligned—known as strabismus or "wandering eyes"—it can cause double vision or suppression of one eye's image, leading to problems like reduced depth perception or vision loss. Correct eye alignment is crucial for clear, comfortable vision and proper spatial awareness, and it can often be improved through glasses, vision therapy, or surgery if needed.
