EXW (Ex Works)

EXW (Ex Works) is a trade term where the seller's responsibility ends once the goods are made available at their location, such as a warehouse or factory. The buyer then takes on all costs and risks, including transportation, customs, and delivery to their destination. Essentially, the seller's obligation is minimal, providing the goods ready for pickup, while the buyer handles the logistics from that point forward. This term is often used when the buyer prefers to control most of the shipping process and bears the majority of the responsibility for bringing the goods to their final destination.
