Excimer Lasers

Excimer lasers are specialized tools that produce extremely precise laser beams using energized molecules called excimers, which exist only in excited states. These lasers emit ultraviolet light and are commonly used in eye surgeries like LASIK, as well as in semiconductor manufacturing and industrial processes. The unique ability of excimer lasers to remove material with high accuracy—often at a microscopic level—without significant heat damage makes them invaluable for delicate, high-precision tasks. Their controlled, rapid pulses enable them to reshape surfaces or materials cleanly and efficiently.
