Evzio

Evzio is an auto-injector device that delivers a precise dose of the medication naloxone quickly. It is used to counteract life-threatening overdoses of opioids, such as heroin or prescription pain medications. When someone shows signs of an overdose—like difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, or limp body—Evzio can be used by a bystander to inject naloxone into the muscle (usually thigh or upper arm). The medication works rapidly to reverse the effects of the overdose, restoring breathing and alertness, and can be life-saving until emergency medical help arrives.
