Evacuated tube collector

An evacuated tube collector is a type of solar thermal system designed to efficiently capture and transfer sunlight into usable heat. It consists of multiple glass tubes, each with a vacuum inside that minimizes heat loss. The sun’s rays warm a metal absorber inside the tube, which then transfers the heat to a fluid that circulates through the system. Because the vacuum reduces heat loss, evacuated tube collectors are highly effective at heating water even in colder or less sunny conditions. They are widely used for residential hot water, space heating, or pool heating applications.
