Euskaltzaindia

Euskaltzaindia, also known as the Royal Academy of the Basque Language, is the official institution responsible for regulating and promoting the Basque language (Euskara). Founded in 1919, its goal is to preserve, develop, and standardize Euskara, ensuring its correct and consistent use across regions. The academy provides linguistic guidelines, publishes dictionaries and grammar references, and encourages education and cultural initiatives to strengthen Basque language and identity within the Basque communities in Spain and France.
