EUS-FNA (Endoscopic Ultrasound-Fine Needle Aspiration) is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to collect tissue samples from organs or tissues inside the body, such as the pancreas or lymph nodes. A doctor uses an endoscope—a flexible tube with a camera and ultrasound device—to locate the area of concern. Under ultrasound guidance, a thin needle is inserted through the endoscope to carefully extract a small tissue sample.
