European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)

ETIAS, or the European Travel Information and Authorization System, is a security screening process for travelers from countries outside the European Union who wish to visit Schengen Area countries for short stays. It requires filling out an online application before travel, where personal and travel details are reviewed for security risks. Approved travelers receive an authorization valid for up to three years, facilitating smoother entry.
