Euromarkets

Euromarkets are international financial markets where currencies are borrowed and lent outside their home countries, often in a different currency from the country’s own. They enable businesses, governments, and investors to raise funds or invest across borders with greater flexibility. For example, a European company might issue bonds in US dollars through the Euromarket, bypassing domestic restrictions or regulations. These markets operate mainly in offshore financial centers and are characterized by significant international transactions, helping facilitate global commerce and investment flow outside traditional national banking systems.
