Euphronios

Euphronios was a renowned ancient Greek vase painter and ceramic artist active around 510 BCE. Known for his mastery of red-figure pottery, he created detailed, dynamic scenes from mythology and daily life that combined technical skill with expressive detail. His work influenced future Greek art and is considered some of the finest examples of classical ceramic decoration. Tragically, much of his original work was lost or stolen over the centuries, but rediscoveries and replicas have helped preserve his artistic legacy. His artistry exemplifies the sophistication of Greek craftsmanship during the early classical period.
