EULEX

EULEX (European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo) is a peacekeeping and stabilization mission established by the European Union to support Kosovo in building sustainable institutions, rule of law, and security. It operates with a mandate to assist, mentor, and monitor Kosovo’s police, judiciary, and customs authorities, promoting stability and governance post-conflict. EULEX collaborates closely with local authorities while maintaining a neutral role, aiming to foster effective institutions that uphold the rule of law, protect human rights, and facilitate Kosovo’s European integration efforts.
