Eukarya

Eukarya, or eukaryotes, are organisms made up of cells that have a nucleus—a membrane-bound structure that contains their genetic material (DNA). This group includes a diverse range of life forms such as animals, plants, fungi, and many microorganisms. Eukaryotic cells are more complex than prokaryotic cells (like bacteria) and often have specialized structures called organelles that perform specific functions. This cellular complexity allows eukaryotes to develop into complex organisms capable of advanced processes like multicellularity, specialized tissues, and complex behaviors.
