Eucharist

The Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, is a sacred Christian ritual that commemorates Jesus Christ’s Last Supper with his disciples. During the service, bread and wine are consecrated—blessed and set apart—and believed by many Christians to become the actual body and blood of Christ or symbols of his sacrifice. Participants receive these elements to strengthen their spiritual connection to Christ, foster unity within the church community, and reflect on his teachings and sacrifice. The Eucharist is a central act of worship that emphasizes remembrance, thanksgiving, and the ongoing presence of Christ in believers’ lives.
