EU citizenship

EU citizenship is a status granted to individuals who are nationals of one of the European Union member states. It enhances their rights within the EU, allowing them to move, live, work, and study in all member countries without needing separate visas or permits. EU citizens can also participate in European Parliament elections and enjoy consular protection from embassies of other EU countries when outside the EU.
