The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is a global alliance of companies, trade unions, and NGOs dedicated to improving working conditions in supply chains. It promotes ethical practices such as fair wages, healthy workplaces, and respect for workers’ rights. Members commit to following a set of principles known as the ETI Base Code, which encourages responsible sourcing and transparency. By collaborating and sharing best practices, ETI aims to ensure that workers in production countries are treated fairly and ethically, fostering sustainable and responsible business practices worldwide.
