Esteban de Garibay

Esteban de Garibay (c. 1520–1561) was a Spanish historian and writer during the Renaissance. He is best known for his detailed works on the history of Spain and its peoples, especially the Aztecs and other indigenous cultures of the New World. Garibay aimed to preserve and interpret historical and cultural knowledge, contributing significantly to early Spanish understanding of America.
