Esposizione Universale

The Esposizione Universale was a large-scale international exhibition held in Rome in 1942 to showcase Italy’s cultural, technological, and artistic achievements. It aimed to promote national pride and boost Italy’s global image during the Fascist regime. The event featured impressive architecture, exhibits, and displays representing Italy’s industry and art. However, the exhibition was ultimately canceled due to World War II. Today, some of its buildings, like the EUR district, still stand and serve as reminders of this ambitious but incomplete project.
