eSIM (embedded SIM)

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital version of the traditional SIM card found in phones and devices. Unlike physical SIM cards that you insert or swap out, an eSIM is built directly into the device’s hardware. It allows you to activate and switch mobile networks via software, without needing to change any physical parts. This makes devices more compact, durable, and easier to update with new service providers remotely. Essentially, an eSIM provides the same functionality as a physical SIM, but in a more flexible and integrated way.
