ESEM

ESEM, or Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy, is a technique that allows scientists to look closely at the surface of materials with very high detail, using a specialized microscope. Unlike traditional microscopes, ESEM can examine samples in their natural, even wet or dirty state, without extensive preparation. This provides more accurate insights into how materials behave in real-world environments. It combines the capabilities of electron microscopy with an environment control system, enabling detailed imaging and analysis of surfaces, textures, and structures in a way that advances research across fields like materials science, biology, and electronics.
