Ersari
The Ersari are a subgroup of Turkmen nomadic herders originally from Central Asia, particularly Turkmenistan. They are renowned for their distinctive craftsmanship, especially their intricate woven carpets and textiles. Traditionally, the Ersari have maintained a semi-nomadic lifestyle, moving with their livestock such as sheep, goats, and camels. Their social structure emphasizes close-knit family and tribal ties. Today, while many Ersari have settled in villages and towns, they preserve their rich cultural heritage through weaving, music, and customs that reflect their historical lifestyle and craftsmanship.
