Ernst Klimt (brother)

Ernst Klimt was the younger brother of the renowned Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. Born in 1872, Ernst trained as a gold engraver and worked in decorative arts, contributing to design projects during the Vienna Secession movement. His career was cut short when he tragically died in 1892 at the age of 20. Ernst's early death prevented him from achieving broader recognition, but he remains a part of Gustav Klimt’s family history and artistic legacy.
