Eric Avery

Eric Avery is an American musician best known as the bassist for the alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction. He joined the band in 1986, contributing to its distinctive sound with his bass playing, and was part of their influential albums like *Nothing’s Shocking* and *Ritual de lo Habitual*. Avery’s musicianship is noted for its melodic and inventive style. He left the band in 1991 but rejoined in 2008.
