ERG Testing

ERG testing, or electroretinography, is a diagnostic procedure that measures the electrical responses of the retina—the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eye—to light stimuli. By recording these responses with small electrodes placed on the eye or nearby, doctors can assess how well your retina functions. This test helps identify and monitor eye conditions such as retinal degenerations, inherited retinal disorders, and other visual problems, providing valuable information about retinal health that can't be seen through standard eye exams.
