equilibrium physics
Equilibrium in physics occurs when all forces acting on an object balance out, resulting in no change in its motion. There are two main types: static equilibrium, where an object remains at rest because all forces cancel each other, and dynamic equilibrium, where an object moves at constant velocity with balanced forces. Think of a balanced scale: when both sides are equal, the scale is in equilibrium. Essentially, equilibrium means the object or system is stable, not accelerating, and all contributing forces or influences are in harmony.
