Eppè

Eppé (also spelled Epée) is a type of fencing weapon used in the sport of fencing. It has a stiff, triangular blade and a large bell-shaped guard to protect the hand. Unlike foil or sabre, the eppé allows hits to any part of the opponent's body, making it a versatile and strategic weapon. Points are scored when a fencer makes contact with their opponent with the tip of the blade, and the entire body is a valid target area. Eppé fencing emphasizes precision, timing, and strategy, requiring both offensive skill and defensive tactics.
