Epipaleolithic

The Epipaleolithic is a transitional period between the Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) and the Neolithic (New Stone Age), occurring roughly between 20,000 and 8,000 years ago, depending on the region. During this time, humans continued hunting and gathering but began developing more advanced tools, making slight adjustments to adapt to changing climates and environments. It also saw the beginnings of small-scale plant management and possibly early forms of semi-permanent settlements. This period reflects gradual cultural and technological innovations that laid the foundation for more settled, agriculture-based societies in later periods.
