Epidural Injections

Epidural injections are a medical procedure used to relieve pain, often in the back or neck. A physician administers a short, targeted shot of corticosteroid medication into the epidural space—the area around the spinal cord’s protective covering. This reduces inflammation and swelling that can press on nerves, easing pain and improving mobility. The procedure is typically done using imaging guidance for accuracy, and patients may experience relief lasting weeks to months. It’s a common, minimally invasive treatment option for conditions like herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or chronic pain where conservative therapies haven't been enough.
