Enslavement

Enslavement is a condition where individuals are forced to work without control over their lives or freedom, often through coercion, violence, or deception. Enslaved people are unable to leave their situation or make independent choices, and their labor benefits others. Historically, it involved the ownership of people as property, denying them basic human rights. Although formal slavery has been abolished in most countries, modern forms like human trafficking and forced labor still exist, highlighting ongoing issues of exploitation and loss of autonomy.
