Enneads (Plotinus)
The Enneads are a collection of writings by Plotinus, a philosopher from the 3rd century. They explore the nature of reality, emphasizing that everything originates from a single, divine source called "The One." From The One, emanates the World Soul and then the material universe. The goal of philosophy is to achieve spiritual union with The One through inner contemplation and perfecting the soul. The Enneads serve as a foundational text in Neoplatonism, offering insights into the interconnectedness of all existence and the path toward spiritual enlightenment.
