ENGAGE trial

The ENGAGE trial was a clinical study designed to test a new medication aimed at reducing the risk of blood clots in patients with certain medical conditions, such as atrial fibrillation. The study compared the effectiveness and safety of this new drug against existing treatments. Participants were randomly assigned to receive either the new medication or standard therapy, and their health outcomes were monitored over time. The goal was to determine if the new drug could prevent strokes and other clot-related problems more safely and effectively, potentially offering better options for patients at risk of blood clots.
