Endovascular Procedures

Endovascular procedures are minimally invasive techniques used to treat problems within blood vessels, such as blockages or aneurysms. Instead of large incisions, doctors insert thin tubes called catheters through small punctures in the skin, usually in the leg or wrist. These catheters allow the physician to access the affected area with special tools, like balloons or stents, to open up narrowed arteries or support weakened blood vessel walls. This approach typically results in less pain, quicker recovery, and fewer complications compared to traditional surgery.
