Endourology
Endourology is a specialized branch of urology focused on diagnosing and treating urinary tract problems using minimally invasive techniques. It involves the use of thin, flexible or rigid instruments called endoscopes, which are inserted through small openings or natural body channels like the urethra. These tools allow doctors to see inside the kidneys, bladder, and ureters, and perform procedures such as removing kidney stones, diagnosing tumors, or treating urinary issues without large incisions. Endourology offers patients shorter recovery times, less pain, and fewer complications compared to traditional surgery.
