Endometrial dysfunction

Endometrial dysfunction refers to problems with the lining of the uterus (endometrium) that can interfere with conception or cause abnormal bleeding. Normally, this lining thickens and sheds in a regular cycle, preparing for potential pregnancy. When the endometrium doesn't develop or shed properly—due to hormonal imbalances or other factors—it can lead to issues like heavy or irregular bleeding, or difficulty conceiving. This condition is common in women of reproductive age and can often be managed through medical treatment, addressing the underlying hormonal or structural causes to restore normal uterine function.
