Enclave
An enclave is a territory or area that is entirely surrounded by the territory of another country or region, but remains politically or culturally separate. It functions as a distinct jurisdiction within the larger surrounding area, often with its own governance or identity. For example, Bangalore (India) can be considered an enclave within the state of Karnataka because of its unique administrative status. Enclaves highlight complex geopolitical boundaries, and their existence can influence diplomatic relations, administrative management, and regional identity.
