Emulsion Lift

An emulsion lift is a printing technique used to transfer toner or ink from a printed image onto another surface, such as fabric or paper. It involves creating a thin emulsion layer—similar to a photographic emulsion—on a transparent sheet, which hardens during exposure to light. The printed toner is then applied to this emulsion, and after a chemical development process, the emulsion can be lifted or transferred onto the desired surface.
