Emulator
An emulator is a software program that mimics the functions of a different hardware system or console. It allows a computer or device to run applications, games, or software designed for that other system, by replicating its environment. This enables users to experience programs or games from older or different platforms without needing the original hardware. Emulators are used for preserving digital content, testing software across systems, or playing classic games on modern devices. Essentially, they serve as a bridge, translating commands and operations to make unfamiliar hardware appear familiar to the host system.
