Empty Space

Empty space, or a vacuum, refers to regions where there are no particles or matter present. At the microscopic level, even seemingly empty space contains fleeting particles and energy fluctuations due to quantum effects. In space, vast regions between stars and planets are mostly empty, with extremely low particle density and radiation. This emptiness influences how light travels and how forces like gravity work.
