Emptiness

Emptiness, in a philosophical or spiritual context, refers to the idea that objects, events, and even ourselves lack an inherent, independent existence. Instead, everything is interconnected and arises dependently on other factors. This means nothing exists in isolation or has a fixed, unchanging essence. Recognizing emptiness helps us see that attachment to rigid identities or perceptions can be misleading, fostering flexibility, openness, and understanding. It’s a way of understanding the transient, interconnected nature of reality, promoting liberation from suffering caused by attachment and delusion.
