Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA)

The Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) is proposed U.S. legislation aimed at protecting employees from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. It would prohibit employers from unfairly treating employees or job applicants due to these characteristics, similar to protections already in place for race, religion, and gender.
