
Emmeline B. Wells (suffragist)
Emmeline B. Wells was a prominent American journalist, editor, and leader within the women's suffrage movement, particularly advocating for women’s right to vote. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and used her platform to promote equality and social reforms. As editor of the Woman's Exponent, she influentially supported women’s education, employment, and political rights.
