Emirates Air Line

The Emirates Air Line is a cable car transportation system in London that connects the Greenwich Peninsula with the Royal Docks. Suspended over the River Thames, it provides a scenic and efficient way to commute or enjoy views of the city’s landmarks. The cabins are glass-enclosed, offering panoramic sights while traveling approximately 10 minutes between stations. Opened in 2012 as part of the London Olympics infrastructure, it serves both as public transit and a tourist attraction, showcasing London’s skyline from a unique aerial perspective. The system is operated by Transport for London and is accessible to all passengers.
